Summer/Winter Non-Matriculated Application

All non-degree applicants should be aware of the following conditions before submitting the application for non-matriculated enrollment:

All Non-Degree, Life Long Learner, High School Enrichment, Visiting Student, and Cross Registered students are considered non-matriculated and are not enrolled in a degree program.
Non-matriculated students are not enrolled in a degree program and therefore do not qualify for financial aid. Exceptions may be made for applicants pursuing state certification requirements for teaching. Please speak with the office of Financial Aid for more information.
Immunization: Students registering for more than one class are required to submit their documentation of immunization records (measles, mumps, rubella, and meningitis waiver). Students born before January 1st, 1957 are waived from this requirement. COVID-19 vaccinations are no longer required.

Summer Session applications open March 17.

Summer session 1 begins June 1 and the last day to add/drop with a late registration of $50 is June 5. Applications received after that date will not be processed.
Summer session 2 begins July 6 and the last day to add/drop with a late registration of $50 is July 13. Applications received after that date will not be processed.
Summer session 3 begins June 15 and the last day to add/drop with a late registration of $50 is June 22. Applications received after that date will not be processed.
Summer session 4 begins May 26 and the last day to add/drop with a late registration of $50 is May 27. Applications received after that date will not be processed.

For Fall and Spring Entry, do not use this form, please use the Non-Matriculated Admission Application Form.

If the class(es) you are looking to register for require a pre-requisite that was not taken at SUNY Old Westbury, please provide the department chairperson a copy of your transcript satisfying the pre-requisite in order to register. If approved, the department chairperson will contact owregistrar@oldwestbury.edu on your behalf for further processing.

Once accepted as a non-degree student, students MAY view accounts at ConnectOW. Bill payment is due the day of registration. Credit card payments must be made online via the ConnectOW Portal.
